Models
Development and implementation zero-dimensional, lumped-parameter, or empirical regression numerical models, derived from literature correlations or from experimental activities often carried out in Advantech TIME’s own laboratories. Depending on efficiency needs and integration requirements with other client software, these tools can be developed in various programming languages, including C#, Python, Matlab/Octave, Matlab-Simulink, and, for simpler cases, Excel.
Main application areas
heat transfer processes, humid air treatment, plant simulation (hydraulic or ventilation systems, coupling with pumps/fans, etc.), acoustic emission prediction, as well as specific and dedicated applications (e.g., particulate transport systems, packaging and logistics processes, etc.).
Model applications
design and R&D, especially for sensitivity analysis of design or operating parameters, aimed at functional or sizing optimization. We have also developed numerical models to create full-product “digital twins”, integrated with experimental activities to build dynamic test benches where numerical models guide the testing process, predicting the system’s response in real-time (similar to SIL/HIL Software & Hardware in the Loop applications).
